At the corner of Farnsworth St. and Congress St. in historic Fort Point Historical district, I am currently working on designing a new condo building. Currently in the pre-design process, it has provided invaluable experience in learning how the design process works in a real environment. Zero Farnsworth has become a really interesting project because of the skin. We are proposing a series of panels that are placed based on the location of interior elements. Oriented to be facing the corner condition, providing two vastly different experiences as one walks by the condo building. In addition, the parking system is a semi-automatic puzzle system that allows 10 cars to utilize the same square footage as 6 conventional spots, this particular technology is utilized all over Europe and most of the west cost, but this will be one of the first in Boston.
